Another great story is �Mato Tipila�, by Jesse Marie Roberts (who seems to be becoming one of my favorite short story writers lately) about why you shouldn�t climb Devil�s Tower during the off-season�you should listen to the Native Americans when they warn you away. Analyze to yourself three or four stories that you liked, and ask yourself why you liked them; what made you finish them instead of putting them down half finished and wandering away? One pretty good story and a couple of the excerpts are from lesser known books.
